I create a funeral service that will be as unique as their life story and will bring you comfort and confidence.
It does not matter which faith community the deceased person belonged to or whether they were non-denominational.
It is important to me to shape this difficult moment in a personal and respectful way - a farewell ceremony with heart.
The deceased person always stands at the centre, with their story, their life and their personality.

Everything you need to know about your event at this venue.
After initial contact, I support the bereaved in finding the right form for the farewell ceremony. I then conduct the preparation meeting, during which I want to learn more about the deceased person. At the same time, I bring ideas on how your wishes can be realised. I also have suggestions for musical accompaniment or perhaps a ritual. Back at my desk, the funeral oration develops step by step. It is important to me that my words reflect the deceased person and their life. Sometimes cheerful and humorous, sometimes profound and calm - but always empathetic, comforting and heartfelt. And if clarifications with other people or service providers are necessary, I will take care of that too. On the day of the ceremony, I arrive early so that in addition to the arrangements, there is also time for any last questions. When everyone and everything is ready, I address the guests and guide them through the ceremony with touching words and, if necessary, through the burial as well.
I provide tips on how the proceedings will be harmonious and also work within the time frame. If my capacity allows, I take on further organisational tasks or design printed materials.
Based on a questionnaire that you can complete in advance, you tell me in your own words about the life of the deceased person: What made them who they were? What brought them joy? What gave them strength and joy in their life? What were they proud of? What made them laugh? Which people played an essential role? What values shaped their thinking, feelings and actions? You are welcome to show me some photos as well. We also determine the proceedings together. With my help, you select the songs and perhaps a ritual. You will then receive what has been agreed in writing.
You do not need to do much preparation on your part. However, I am grateful if you complete a brief questionnaire with key points for me. This way I can familiarise myself and form initial thoughts about the ceremony. An obituary and perhaps a curriculum vitae are also helpful.
Yes, I very much enjoy doing this. The tranquillity of a lake, its lovely beauty, but also the rolling waves and the flowing water provide an appropriate and impressive atmosphere to say farewell. A quiet mountain lake with breathtaking panoramic views can also be comforting for the final journey of a loved one.
