City Hall and Market House Sursee

The City Hall and Market House, restored between 1971 and 1975, still shines in new splendor. It is not only a proud landmark of the small town of Sursee, but also one of the most magnificent town halls from the late Gothic period.rnrnWith its various historic halls and chambers, it offers an elegant setting for events of all kinds: The cloth hall seats up to 200 for banquets or up to 250 with concert seating. The historic Citizens' Hall (Great Council Chamber) accommodates up to 100 people and is suitable for meetings, lectures, or chamber concerts. The former "Sust" -- set up as a medieval drinking hall -- can host 70 to 100 people.
