Dampfbahn Verein Zürcher Oberland (DVZO)

Extra trips with the DVZO are possible on every day of the week and at any time of day. Our main route is the Bauma-Hinwil railway line, which has been closed to passenger traffic; upon request, we also operate on most other standard-gauge railway lines in the Zurich / Eastern Switzerland region. Railways are by their nature a bulky mass transit system, and providing a train is very labor-intensive. Therefore, the most economical option is to start or end in Bauma, as this results in the fewest empty runs. Although an extra train is mainly financially suitable for larger groups, we also welcome smaller groups - but unfortunately, we cannot grant a discount.
