From December 2026, we welcome you to the newly designed Alm - a cosy mountain restaurant with unique ambiance and plenty of heart.
Whether sledge evening, wedding, corporate celebration, birthday or family party - every occasion is welcome with us. We are happy to design your event according to your wishes and look forward to every enquiry.
Look forward to alpine specialities and convivial moments of enjoyment. We offer various menus, including our popular cheese fondue, fried chicken platters, Kaiserschmarrn as well as other seasonal delicacies. Menu offers are available from CHF 69 per person.
We are also happy to organise exclusive events from CHF 5000 minimum consumption.
Every Tuesday and Thursday we invite you to our atmospheric sledge evenings with cheese fondue - an unforgettable winter experience in the mountains.

Nestled above Zermatt at Furi, this mountain restaurant has won hearts with its genuine alpine warmth and exceptional food. Guests consistently rave about the freshly caught trout — pulled straight from the on-site pond — alongside hearty Swiss classics like fondue, raclette, and the Valais platter. The cosy, renovated setting with Matterhorn views creates an atmosphere that feels both special and effortlessly welcoming. Families love the bunnies and play area for kids, while food lovers appreciate the careful, passionate cooking. Warm, attentive staff make every visit feel like coming home.

We stopped here for lunch. The restaurant was great. We tried cold gazpacho which was amazing on the hot day. Then we tried smoked trout for appetizer and pan fried trout for the main course. The trout was caught from the restaurants own pond. The trout was delicious.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was recommended this place by a friend, and it absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine, making us feel instantly at home. The attention to detail throughout the entire experience was exceptional. The food was simply outstanding, without a doubt some of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Every dish was beautifully presented, packed with flavour, and clearly prepared with great care and passion. You can really tell that quality and creativity are at the heart of everything they do. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the whole team went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a truly special dining experience. We will definitely be back!
I couldn’t recommend this place MORE !!! Everything is made with love and a finesse that is deserving of a Michelin star ⭐ The gazpacho is mouthwatering, leaving you wanting more ! The asparagus with Parmesan foam is Smokey and has the perfect crunch of hazelnut. The beetroot carpaccio is full of different flavours!so fresh and summery . The cured trout is a dish that just stands out on its own , caught fresh from their mountain stream pond . They have some awesome house drinks . You can see this place is just bursting with Creativeness and an amazing explosion of different flavours ! The team is so welcoming and definitely give the customer that little extra attention .. honestly - BRAVO guys !
A unique introduction to Swiss cuisine in the heart of the Alps. I would not be surprised if this restaurant held a Michelin star. What impressed me most was the incredibly interesting asparagus soup — unlike anything I have ever tasted before. The steak was outstanding: just the right amount of sauce, and cooked perfectly to preserve the natural flavor of the meat while still delivering everything one expects from a beautifully grilled steak. I highly recommend a visit, whether or not you are planning to spend time in this part of the mountains.
Ce restaurant est cher comme tous les restaurants à Zermatt mais la cuisine est inventive et délicieuse. Le cadre est aussi agréable. Un peu moins cher et plus copieux et ce serait parfait.
