For 26 years I have photographed weddings - the first look, the first yes, the first dance. Successful, sought-after, confident.
But at some point, perfection was no longer enough for me. I became interested in what lies behind the staging: what a dress looks like when it no longer needs to be protected. How a face appears when the mask falls.
So Trash the Dress was born - not a farewell to the wedding dress, but its second, more honest appearance. In water, in dust, in wind. Black and white, because emotion needs no colour.
The wedding photographer became an artist who looks closely. What remained is the same eye for the genuine moment - only with more courage.
