Experience an unforgettable event in a dreamlike location. Nestled in a fairytale natural setting, the Scuol Palace awaits you with beautiful rooms from a bygone era. The historic building opened on 26 July 1864 as the Kurhaus Tarasp and was developed over the years into a unique architectural ensemble.
Today it is classified as 'cultural property of national significance' and preserves the elegance and splendour of past times.
For over a century, the Scuol Palace attracted crowned heads from across Europe and beyond, as well as wealthy ladies and gentlemen of high society. Famous writers and artists such as Robert Musil, Kurt Tucholsky and Paul Klee found inspiration and relaxation here. As the first Grand Hotel of the Engadin, the Kurhaus Tarasp significantly shaped the region's exclusive tourism and served as a model for many prominent hotel buildings, including the Waldhaus Vulpera, the Schweizerhof Vulpera and the Waldhaus Sils.
After an eventful history, the Scuol Palace reopened on 26 December 2023 as a spa and cultural house. It builds on its glorious past and combines tradition with new vitality - a unique venue for special occasions, cultural encounters and unforgettable experiences.

Erstklassige, achtsame Massage (Lomi Thai Fusion) von Simone Denz mit tiefgehender, zentrierender Wirkung kann ich wärmsten weiterempfehlen.
Für wenig Geld kriegt man eine Möglichkeit in einem Schloss zu übernachten 😁. Alles war gut: Zimmer, Natur, Ruhe.
Das Hotel Team ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Hotel ist sehr sanft renoviert, das ist wirklich wunderschön und die Zimmer sehr geräumig. Die Lage direkt am Inn mit dem grossen Garten ist ruhig und idyllisch
Wir hatten eine Übernachtung im Palace gebucht und mussten vor Ort wegen Krankheit spontan stornieren. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Reception war ausserordentlich freundlich und hat die Buchung aus Kulanz kostenfrei storniert. Herzlichen Dank nochmals!
We drive here, so the location is ok. Although it is a bit old fashion hotel, the service, the view and the room were all good. Some parts are even exceeding expectation. The people here are very supportive and helpful. Before arrival, they helped us cancel the duplicate order and send us digital Scuol guest cards which we can ride free buses and free cable car to the mountain. After arrival, they provide a very nice room and also gave us clear explanations about the facilities. The swimming pool, spa and sauna was so comfortable and clean. We stayed quite happy two nights here. Scuol is such a lovely town which we would like to visit again.
We loved staying at Scuol Palace, and in particular I appreciated Simone, their resident massage therapist. She gave me a fantastic and deeply healing massage: I highly recommend her!!!
