Kartause Ittingen

The Kartause Ittingen has a nearly 900-year history. Teaching and learning have always been central. Today, the former Carthusian monastery uniquely combines monastic values such as culture, spirituality, education, care, hospitality, and self-sufficiency. The estate features 22 seminar and conference rooms (all with natural light), a hotel with 68 guest rooms, the à la carte Restaurant Mühle, various banquet halls, a monastery shop, magnificent gardens, the Ittinger Museum, and the Thurgau Art Museum, a residential home with employment opportunities for adults with mental or physical disabilities, and much more.
