Large Hall Bern

The Large Hall is a cultural and meeting place that is open to everyone. We maintain a broad concept of culture, which also includes subculture, socio-culture, sports facilities, markets, and festivals. A socially critical, social, and feminist attitude is important to us. Preferences are given to uses and events that promote a critical attitude and question mainstream societal and power structures.nnThe Large Hall is unique in the city of Bern with its size of around 1500m2, its artistic, pillarless roof structure, and its painted walls. In the corners, there are cubes where materials can be stored, which also house sanitary facilities and dressing rooms/offices. Additionally, we have a bar at the entrance. Apart from these structures, the Large Hall is intended to remain an empty and multifunctionally usable space. Temporary and mobile structures are possible.
