Villa Sträuli

The villa is a gently renovated, neo-baroque villa located just five minutes from Winterthur railway station and the old town.

It is an artist's villa par excellence: artistic creation, its own cultural offerings and gastronomy are combined and lived together in an ideal way. For many people in Winterthur, Villa Sträuli has become an indispensable part of the local cultural scene, especially the Saturday matinée, which draws music lovers to Villa Sträuli every Saturday at 11 o'clock for a short concert. Three studios for artists from all over the world are available on the upper floors. Through the bistro, the beautiful villa and the charming garden are open to guests during the week for lunch.

When you plan your event at Villa Sträuli, you always have the place entirely to yourself. The entire ground floor and the park-like 600 m² garden can be hired and provide a perfect setting for celebrations and festivities for up to approximately 70 people, as well as for seminars, corporate dinners and workshops in an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. In addition to the stylish ambience, we offer professional service, state-of-the-art technical equipment - and last but not least - a beautiful, regularly tuned grand piano. For catering, we typically work with a selection of suitable caterers. Regarding the use of the venue, we definitely recommend a brief preliminary discussion, as many things are possible at Villa Sträuli.

Please note that Villa Sträuli is closed every Sunday out of respect for the residents of the house, the neighbourhood and our staff.
