Space in the heart of Bern, in a former workshop
From a historically significant vacant workshop (in a building from 1869) in Bern''s Lorraine district, we want to create a grounded gathering place: the WerkStadt Lorraine. We built the WerkStadt in 2020 during the Corona pandemic, inspired by concepts of the circular economy.
A colorful and creative team stands behind the WerkStadt. It is the joy of food, the exciting collaborations, and unconventional solutions that connect us. For us, the taste experience is even greater when the products are locally and sustainably produced. We want to share this passion and joy with you, dear guests!
The WerkStadt Lorraine is a café, a shop, and a space.
You can rent the space 7 days a week from 4:00 PM, with or without the WerkStadt team. Would you like a glass of wine or our aperitif platter as a complement to your event? We are happy to tell you more about the fine products we offer.
