In the 18th century, the stately Zunfthaus zur Saffran was built on Limmatquai opposite Zurich Town Hall. It remains in its original majestic form to this day. In keeping with the tradition of the guilds, no expense was spared on the house''s furnishings; the halls in the heart of Zurich today as they did then provide an extraordinary setting for celebrations. Receptions, birthdays, weddings, business dinners, banquets, readings, auctions, and various occasions surprise with their unique backdrop.
